Esmeralda County School District (ECSD) believes it is essential for students to gain exposure and skills in the worlds of math and science as they apply to design and engineering. With a STEM program, students will learn the basic rules for engineering: 

 Do not give up, 

 Constantly gain more and better skills,

 Look “outside the box”, 

 Be creative, and, 

 While being realistic, do not immediately accept what is will always be.
